What are the Eligibility Requirements?

Grants are made to 501-C-3 public charities in the Louisville and Jefferson County, KY area. Grants are not made to private foundations or to individuals. The Foundation may not designate funds for legislation or support activities that seek to influence the legislative process, except as allowed by the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.

What is the Grant Range?

Grants range from $5,000 to $60,000 with 38 grant recipients.

What is the Application Process?

After viewing our funding guidelines and feel that you fall within one or more of the categories, the Norton Foundation grant application must be used. You may download the application from this web site. An original and three copies are required for submission.

What is the Review Process?

The Board of Trustees meets three times per year. Applications must precede the meeting by approximately one month. Deadlines and meeting days fluctuate. Current deadline may be learned by calling or emailing the office.
